Pachu Moothathu of Vaikom

He was one among those scholars that Kerala had ever produced To the Ayurvdists and literary men his name is not a new one. He was an erudite scholar in Sanskrit, Ayurveda, Astrology and Music and he has written many books in all these fields. As a physician also he had great fame and was the physician to the Royal Family of Travancore. Hridaya Priya and Sukhasadhakom are two of his important  works in Avurveda. He also was a poet and Muchukunda Moksham Kathakali and Nakshatra Mala are works which are considered to be of high literary value. He was a great grammarian and had written a grammar for Malayalam language.
